Call for proposals under the multiannual Community Programme on promoting safer use of the Internet and new online technologies (Safer Internet plus)

Objectives and description
The European Commission has adopted a Work Programme and a Call for proposals to implement the Safer Internet plus Programme.
The present call is open for proposals addressing the following actions:
1. Fighting against Illegal Content1.1 Integrated network: Hotlines for reporting illegal content1.2 Integrated network: Hotline co-ordinator1.3 Targeted projects: Enhancing law enforcement agencies' analysis of illegalmaterial1.4 Thematic network: Facilitating cooperation of law enforcement agencies inEurope and internationally2. Tackling unwanted and harmful contentThere will not be a call for new actions under this action line in 2007.3. Promoting a Safer Environment3.1 Thematic network: NGO network for child protection on the internet4. Awareness-raising4.1 Integrated network: Awareness nodes4.2 Integrated network: Awareness network co-ordinator4.3 Integrated network: Helplines, where children can raise concerns about illegal and harmful content and uncomfortable or scary experiences related to their use of online technologies
