New technologies for the media field: Opportunities for small and medium-sized companies

The MediaTrans Project:

MediaTrans is a pilot project financed partly by the European Commission. It is being carried out in co-operation with partners from Bulgaria, Great Britain, Germany, India and Poland.

The aim of the project:

To safeguard the competitiveness of small and medium-sized companies in the media sector.

The procedure:

  1. Compilation of a "roadmap" charting future developments and trends in the media sector:
    The "Stuttgart Media University", together with other partners and with the aid of a survey of media experts, is compiling a technology roadmap to preview future technologies for the media sector (Horizon: 10-15 years)
  2. Adaptation of the roadmap to your specific company developments and needs
  3. Identification of European sponsorship possibilities and co-operation partners by MediaTrans

All 3 steps are intended to equip your company from the media sector for future developments.
